As always, thanks for your insight. One of my basic rules is to always sell once an ETF has gained 20%. Sometimes I get snake bit, but most of the time I get out before a correction occurs. Of course, after the corection, I may get back in. ECH has not made a significant correction since June. I am wondering about two ETFs that I bought recently (EPU and VNM). Are they both up against resistance?
Thanks,
Aaron
Per chile…harvested our gains in chile one month ago today, after a quick 10% gain.
I did a replacement of chile, buy suggesting to buy EEM, EWZ and Tur. I am always looking for relative strenght and more favorable patterns.
In the past month, since I sold Chile (ECH)it is up LESS THAN 1%. EEM is up 6%, EWZ is up 8% and Turkey (TUR) is UP OVER 15%.
This big outperformance won’t always happen, yet often the “power of the pattern” does help us create extra gains.

Might want to re-examine Chile… If emerging markets move higher, I think we’ll breakout to new highs.
